In Coach Caroline’s kitchen classroom your kids will learn how to create yummy international breakfast bites from traditional breakfast ingredients. Such as Pannekoek and piesangs, breakfast buns and fries, French toast toasties, pizza bruschettas, Hawaiian cheesecake and breakfast burritos

In the Kitchen with Coach Caroline

The kitchen is exciting classroom for your children. Maths is everywhere, and doing fun activities involving cooking and baking with Coach Caroline as your guide will help your child to develop a greater understanding of the mathematical concepts they are being taught at school.
Unlike a traditional maths lesson which is grade specific and focuses on one concept, this Valentines baking activity provides a fun learning opportunity for children of all ages to explore many of the math concepts they will be learning about this year.
Maths skills which will be covered in this workshop will include :
Measurement - volume and mass
Fraction - Halving, doubling and complex fractions
Sorting, Language of maths - sorting, comparisons and groupings.
Maths basics - add, subtract, multiplication and division
Logistics, I will share the recipe and ingredients list ahead of time. Your child will cook at home while guided through a Zoom lesson.
1 hour sessions
Small groups: 4 to 6 children
Cost: R100 per child or R300 for a group
Ages: 7 to 10
